I am sure I don’t have to tell you the many benefits that the mighty lime has to offer. Just google it and you will see the list seems endless. I enjoy the help with digestion as well as the healthy dose of Vitamin C it gives. Did you know that vitamin C travels through our systems neutralizing free radicals in our bodies? Awesome. Free radicals cause inflammation of our cells and in turn can cause us a lot of health problems.
Needless to say :: I heart limes.
I decided to turn the lemonade that Gabrielle loves into a limeade for me. Both citrus fruits are highly nutritious I just happen to lean towards the tasty side of the darling lime.
I never measure my ingredients exactly and my drinks tend to vary, ahem… perhaps you will find just the right amount of each ingredient to suit your fancy and write her on down. Otherwise, do as I do and just wing it. The recipe below is pretty straight forward. I prefer a lot of lime and a small amount of syrup where my Mister and the kidos prefer it on the sweeter side. Hope you love it as much as I do!
